Classic Compound Butter

Quick and easy, this compound butter might just become a staple in your kitchen. Toss a little with roasted vegetables or melt over grilled fish, shrimp, or chicken. We also love it on roasted sweet potatoes!


Ingredients:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon Fire & Flavor Chicken Rub
2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

FIRST  Using a rubber spatula, combine ingredients until well blended. Spoon butter onto a sheet of wax or parchment paper, fold over, and shape into a 2-inch diameter log. Wrap tightly and refrigerate until firm.

LAST  Remove butter, re-wrap inside clean wax paper, and secure ends with ribbon for a thoughtful gift.
